ABC Westminster & Santa Ana Day Health Center is a provider of adult day services in Westminster, California and Santa Ana, California in a community group setting for the purpose of supporting older adults’ personal independence and promoting social, physical, and emotional well-being.
We provide quality adult day care services to individuals who are at risk of being placed in an institutional facility and being distanced from the love and support of family. We offer Community Based Adult Services (CBAS) through a community-based day care program that provides ADHC services for Medi-Cal beneficiaries.
We will serve as the family’s extension during daytime, thereby, relieving family caregivers from having to care for and supervise their functionally impaired adult loved ones or seniors. Our recreational programs at the center promote wellness for participants during the day when family members are at work or in school.
ABC Westminster & Santa Ana Day Health Center serves those who cannot stay at home alone due to any of the following:
- Frail health
- Conditions that require Physical, Occupational, or Speech therapies
- High Blood Pressure, diabetes, or heart disease
- Memory impairments (Alzheimer’s disease or Dementia)
- May benefit from exercise and proper nutrition
- Require some assistance to remain as independent as possible
- Caregiver who looks after their well-being needs to work or needs a break
- Have some problems with incontinence
- Need to socialize with others with similar situations
- Wheelchair-bound
- High risk of fall
